I used to be a fan of letsvpn for their amazing performance, but from last 2 days (24 august 2026) when i downloaded letsvpn after long time in china, and even i paid platinum for one konth the service is so bad and there is a note on the top “The update you keep swiping away?” I dont know after paying why i am facing this issue, please resplve this matter

Best vpn app, saving imprisoned mind

You've consistently provided outstanding service. Even during that difficult period, you persevered under tremendous hardship and pressure, never abandoning your compatriots on this land who hunger for the truth of the outside world. always worked in mainland china until this month :/ currently trying to process a refund but my merchant id keeps cutting off at the last 3 digits in the refund fourm as i used alipay HK to pay for the subscription

Pretty unstable

didn’t work at all times

I’m in china and then it always says: “connection unstable, please try again later”, and I’m like: “what?” So I see update the app and boom on App Store? NO UPDATE! The free Membership

I have been trying to get some free hours off the hourly chance but never do. I is frustrating me because this vpn works fast in china compared to the rest that I use. I would just like to know what are the probabilities on actually winning.

Used to be 5 star, but now they stopped their services in China which was their main appeal. If ur looking for alternatives that work in China I used surfshark vpn which worked but it connection isnt the fastest and u might have to try connecting to it a few times.

Giving the team 5* for the service. I experienced issues when using it while travelling to China for the first time and asked for a refund but google rejected it. I originally gave up on them, but they followed up with a refund a month later by contacting google themselves. So kudos to them for following through. PS: According to their announcement, the service is no longer stable in China, so take note if that's ur reason for purchasing.

I used LetsVPN in China for quite a while with zero issues. They were the most affordable with the best network and least interruptions. Unfortunately VPN in the country became a problem and they had to suspend services. I left a negative review at first regarding the refund process that was taking very long however my refunds have been processed in full for the different accounts I had with them. The wait may be long but it will be processed eventually. Hopefully they can resume in China soon

Good

App is good overall it does what it needs to do but it’s a pain to connect to regions. I have to try multiple times and it either tells me that the region is temporary closed or my connection isn’t working. I’m literally connected on my other device so it makes no sense if that region is closed. But other than that no complains.

Best and the only window to look outside

As captioned, it’s been years since Covid and always ensures a window for critical thinking, comparison reading, and truth seeking - u know I know, we all know what that means in the region where u announced for a service stop. Even during such hard time, still keep a trust in your company and hope soon or later, service shall be resumed, targeted attacks stopped, and the window remains open for the international family. Works in China no more. Dowgrading to 1 star now as this company has also scammed me. And here I am editing my review again。You have still scammed me. You have refunded my new one year subscription that didn't even kick in yet but, also removed my current sub that had over 150 days on it without any compensation or explanation. How is that not a scam? Oh and it took them more than two months to refund after multiple draining support negotiations. They are counting on people just giving up.

Fix your app or money back

I have 3 active subs for 5 devices (Letsvpn only allows 2 devices per account ) . Previously before “the accident” everything worked as intended. Decent speed , connection etc . Then in April they had some issues , so I waited for 2 month now for them to fix it . I've been in China for almost a month and will be here for another 2 to 3 months. This VPN worked well initially, but it has gotten worse and worse in the last couple weeks. I switched over to telling it to Auto Select the region that it connects to, which is supposed to be some advantage, but it's not helping at all. Now I can't do critical banking online that has to be done today. The company has acknowledged a major problem, so I have to find a different VPN not having this problem.

It's more like 4.5 stars... They haven't banned me, service works great, functions in China. however, when I was charged twice due to a system glitch, although they processed a refund without issue, I was not refunded the processing fees, which I feel I should have 🤷‍♂️

VPN is now getting slower and it is very difficult for owners of 3 devices to change devices because they are often banned and it is very impractical because you can't log out yourself when you want to change accounts. If you update, add a few useful features so you don't have to contact customer service all the time. Furthermore, the response is very slow, you can wait up to an hour for a reply.

It used to work well when I used it in China last year. Now it's utterly rubbish. It does not work at all in Indonesia and when I contacted the helpdesk, they told me to pay extra for the premium package because whatever I was automatically assigned to on the standard package was congested!!! I have been using this for nearly two years and it has been very solid. Recently the connectivity issues have been more frequent and I have to try connecting a couple times before it really works, but this seems to only be an issue on my iPhone and MacBook. Scam! Beware

The app requires you to remove your other paired devices from your account in order to log out of an account so that you can pair another device to the account and use your VPN credits. But once you log out of your account, it entirely resets your credits to ZERO. I paid for 3 months of premium service, and they now say I lost all my days and have no days left once I re-log in on my account. This is a complete scam and a predatory system designed on arbitrary rules to confuse consumers and hope that you “lose credits” so you have to buy more. The user experience is extremely poor

If you're just a light user browsing websites, this software is fine. However, if you use their VPN to download movies, TV shows, or games, you'll almost certainly get your account banned and won't be able to get it unbanned. RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING

While in China they cut my vpn and banned my devices permanently because apparently there was “suspicious activity” when in reality the AI just deemed I was just using too much bandwidth. I purchased the Standard plan and it does not let you select your region. When I contact customer service, they keep trying to make me purchase a new plan (thus provide them with my CC info). Great VPN that works in China. I do wish it had a Split tunneling feature to allow some apps to run without using the VPN. In-app pricing for subscriptions are quite cheap although Google Play slapping it with a 30% surcharge. Alipay among others are also supported so that's handy. Usability wise, it's simply one big button to connect to the VPN, very easy.

I mainly want to access social media platforms like Facebook, Messenger, and Telegram, which are currently restricted in my country. Even though I'm using your paid service, the local ISP is throttling the connection because it detects the VPN protocol. Good connectivity from China. This is the key trait. Many VPNs with higher pedigree are struggling with this. I have to check how will it deal with higher volume of uploads to social networks that I work with. The part that is causing me grievance is the 2 device limit. The app shows 4 slots. For platinum

I do not like 2 devices only, there should be aleast 3-4. Highly disappointed due to it saying “pay platinum for more devices” and when I did it said something about I couldn’t add more devices. Please add more devices for atleast platinum prescription

it has worked fantastically and for a great price for all the time I used it. however, the moment I used a fair bit of bandwidth to download a game, an AI decided to ban my account indefinitely for "unusual network activity." this is despite still having over a month left of days, which i had to attempt to refund via Google play. use if you only do light browsing, avoid at all costs otherwise. update: Google play has rejected my refund request. Just use bamboovpn.

It works but has annoying popup ads blocking the "connect" button, so you have to close the ad to connect. Also doesn't have an Android quick tile to connect, unlike almost every other VPN.

NOT RELiABLE! I used this VPN for a few months, since August I think. All good untill I got my account got banned and no way to remove ban! They mentioned the AI thinks my traffic is problematic. No warning.. nothing, they ban you if your traffic passes some amount I think and there's no way to recover account! This is super bad in China and will create big problems for us foreigners. I got the money back but still...very very bad service to not offer a warning or something before...

Works well in China but not available on Amazon fire stick, I downloaded it via apk pure to side load on the fire stick but but it still doesn't work as you can't click the buttons on the side loaded version to make it work. pretty useless really. updated this review. it's pretty poor in China, lots of disconnections and the US server just doesn't work. yeah they will give you excuses but other VPNs manage it no problem. Also still no support for fire stick. I wouldn't avoid this App.

Absolutely dreadful app. Avoid at all costs

One of the most useless apps I’ve ever downloaded on the App Store. Although it worked intermittently at best on my iPhone (but was not fast enough to watch YouTube videos), it never worked at all on my iPad. Phenomenal experience using this app while in China: Great & intuitive Ui, lots of server options with different options for proxying (for speed or masking), and unbeatable customer support. Abby, Sandy, & Tanne each helped me with my nuanced problems and were very proactive about resolving them completely. The best VPN ever! I bought NordVPN to use because I'm going on a trip to China. but after getting there it does not work at all. Luckily I bought a eSim card before that I can still access some of the content. Then I found LetsVPN and dam is it good, works flawlessly and it's much cheaper too. If you need a VPN then trust me just get this over anything else.

A life saver when I was in China. I initially installed and subscribed to another well known VPN who claimed that it would work in China, but to my surprise it was an utter failure and just wouldnt connect to any servers at all! Someone recommended LetsVPN whilst I was on the Metro and it worked perfectly! A quick and secure connection every time and an extremely fair and competitive payment system. literally the worst experience ever. don't pay for their company, people. after literally 10 hours of buying it, and I was mostly sleep during it. they have suspended and blocked my account. there is no customer service besides a very strange kind of AI that keeps saying,'Please speak English'. To be honest it is pretty mid, ok connections but the thing that bugged me the most is that when you open 5 or more apps it doesn't work and when you don't have the app open it doesn't work either. I would consider this VPN as a backup one.

the app is good and am enjoying it but please update the alipay payment as am in china but still it tells me itd for china mainland users only and am in mainland also please align with Google payments it will make it easier for us to make subscriptions

I have used plenty well known VPNs in China like Express, Astrill etc and LetsVPN is the fastest of all, very stable so far. The only downside is the limit of 2 devices, I need to use on my mobile phone, laptop, tv box.. It's just not enough. If they give the option of more devices It's a no brainer.

Can’t use on more then 1 device

I subscribed to us VPN using the app on my iPhone. It does not show up in the subscription section in settings. I have no idea how to log back into the system as it will not allow you to use the @ symbol in user name. I spent over an hour with their bot, help support trying to actually login with no avail. They tell me to go to a certain page and register. Have no idea what “register” means on the same page there’s a button to “Become a Member. All that does is take you to a payment page where I’ve already paid. I tried going to their webpage and they say you cannot login on the webpage you…

Only 2 devices allowed

The device limit is too low at only 2 registrations. Meaning to use it on the 3rd device, you have to log out 1 device, which is super inconvenient. It's much worse than limiting to 2 connections, which is still too low compared to other vpn providers.

I used this service the last few times I was back in China and it always works and the speed was fine. But the past few weeks have not been working well. The network stability and especially the speed regularly tanks for some reason.

Used Let’sVPN for less than a week on a monthly plan before getting cut off mid-call. It claimed my account expired, but turns out it was suspended for “abnormal behavior” likely due to high network usage. No warning, no notice, no way to know this was a problem. I’ve used many VPNs in China and never had this issue. Completely unreliable and unfair, especially when you depend on it to stay connected. Not recommended.

i traveled to china last year over summer break and was looking for a vpn to access my social media blocked by china, and i searched through reddit and saw a recommendation for this! the price is good and i used it for 2 months last year and it has never failed me. (except that one time it slowed for a few hours but then i resorted to touching grass so that was fine anyway). but overall, this is a great vpn if you are looking to travel to china. can’t wait to use this again in a few days 🤍🤍

Constant disconnections

When it works it’s great and Better than Astrill, but I swear I have to manually connect this vpn well over 100 times a day. It’s incredibly frustrating. It does not auto-reconnect like Astrill. Constant disconnections make it almost unusable. I’m in china btw on an iPhone

сделайте пожалуйста чтобы один аккаунт работал на 4 устройствах. неудобно когда работает только два устройства. и в последнее время скорость ВПН снизилась. приходится по несколько раз входить ВПН или выключать и потом включать чтобы решить проблему. ВПН обновлен до последней версии. мое местоположение материковый Китай . пожалуйста решите проблему иначе мне придется сменить ВПН.

Please delete/cancel subscription! I tried it didn’t even show on my subscriptions. I took screenshots of everything. I deleted the app. It doesn’t work for me. Said because my it’s not compatible with iOS 18. 😕. I think it could be a cool app. If only it worked for all iOS more so the modern ones. Not like I have iOS 10 or 11 lol. Anyway I didn’t have the option so I deleted the application. I’ll notify the bank of any suspicious charges as well. Thank you and have a good day

I wanna see multi-device visions as soon as possible!

LetsVPN is an incredibly competent and reliable proxy. What annoys me is that you guys have promised to us that multi-device versions would be released at least two years ago, but until today, we don’t know any progress on this! Even I contracted to the customer services directly to learn more about this issue, they just told me that I shall be notice once such versions are updated, which is truly helpless. Now, all I see is just a broken promise. If you merely don’t wanna make more devices supported, you can literally just be frank!

Don’t use too much data

I was using Let’s VPN for several month while traveling in China. It’s extremely slow but it worked most of the time. That was until I left the computer on overnight to download a big game and found myself flagged for suspicious behavior which completely removed me of my existing subscription without refund. Looked it up online and found that they have a terrible AI system that flag any large data use and their customer support only tell them they have no way of giving access back. Sure enough I contacted customer support and I got the exact same answer. It worked for the 4 month I sued but…

I was able to use it while I was in China, I can use facebook, google, instagram except TIKTOK, even if i had tried removing the simcard and changing the date and location it still wont let me use TIKTOK. I have a friend in China who is willing to pay for the yearly subscription if you can fix that problem, right now we both cancelled our premium plan until this is fixed.

Alright, after a brutal review that I posted last night, the other customer service representative did reach out to me and explained the situation of 'no response' from one of their staff. I'm glad that the others have done the best of their ability to assist me and I'm very satisfied. Thank you and in the future, even if the shift ended, the staff should at least try to resolve the issue before they leave work. Works perfectly. However, it only allows use on 2 devices. This means I can not have my tablet, phone, and computer connected to my VPN. If you're afraid of account sharing, just restrict the usage to "2 mobile phones maximum, total 3 devices."

There is no improvement from your and your AI system. It is very disappointing. I gave many chances and money to this platform for over six months since I'm in China, Yet you keep freezing my account, unable to log out even deleting even creating a new account. Wasted of money. Excellent VPN

I’ve been using LetsVPN for about 18 months now for regular trips to China (business and tourism). Prices compared to As**** are great. It’s never let me down and can be left on all the times as it doesn’t interfere with Chinese apps like Alipay and WeChat. Highly recommended. It’s also not being affected during the current “2 sessions” meetings in Beijing which used to impact other VPNs

So far using it China I can't complain. Coming from Astrill. I have to say there's rarely any drops and for how well it works I have to say I it's well priced. Sadly it only allows 2 devices per account so I had to pay for 2 accounts. It's always connected on my phone and I have noticed it burns a bit more battery than Astrill or other VPNs that I've tried.. so what I'm saying is AWESOME speeds and reliable connection Please add more devices to accounts and optimize power use.

Works well in China.

This is the most reliable VPN I’ve used in China. I originally had the basic subscription which was fine for Facebook, google, instagram, etc but I upgraded to premium so I could set my preferred server to the UK so I could watch my Paramount+ account. I had to restart my iPad with these settings to get it to work. I recommend turning it off to use Wepay.

The app and internet service is very good but the recent addition of AI behaviour detection, I don't know what stupid ai is being used, blocked 2 of my accounts four devices in a row! With such draconian measures, they don't have any manual means of screening and recovery, ai will just sentence you to death without any recovery options. Even though they allow refunds, you just can't use it. The software and service is really good, but this is just stupid! A reliable choice

I downloaded The standard option as a test 24 hrs ago and it has been working well. It’s quite fast. I have it on 2 devices. It only seems to connect to one server but this has been stable. I’ll definitely upgrade in the future: it’s much cheaper than other VPNs and easy to set up. Disclaimer: I don’t use it to watch Netflix or anything so I can’t comment on how it works with these apps.

Работает как то странно. Приобрел платную подписку Премиум на 3 месяца. Днём ещё что-то работало, причём при выборе многих стран VPN не смог к ним подключиться, работал только с Тайванем и Швейцарией. И скорость вызывала вопросы. А ночью вообще долго не мог подключиться ни к одной стране, но потом вроде заработало. Будем наблюдать.

This app is very cheap and reliable. I definitely recommend it, I even noticed and increase in my internet speed when using, buying premium version is definitely worth is as well as it gives you a variety of countries you can choose from, also it gives you a 60 minute free trial so you can test it before using it, it made me buy premium from a website that looked insecure but it was a very quick experience with no hassle 10/10!

Excellent

Extremely happy with consistent connectivity when other more well known apps fail to connect. Customer support has been quick to respond. It’s true the app sometimes doesn’t automatically open apple pay (goes to a website) but it’s been sorted with the help of customer service the two times I’ve paid. There are also very flexible payment subscriptions so you can try for a longer period without committing.

Too unreliable

When connected to a vpn, the connection is super fast and I can access everything I want to - it’s great. But everyday I face the error message “something went wrong and we are inspecting it. please try again tomorrow”. Whether I’m simply trying to login, or if I input my password incorrectly ONE time, if I’m trying to log out of a device - I always see this message. It’s not even “try again later” it’s says “tomorrow” which is truly bizarre. Also, two devices is not enough. I hope there will be an update soon to add at least 4 devices to match the standard of other vpn providers.
